Nasal Snuff |
|
Nasal snuff is the oldest form of smokeless tobacco and can trace it’s roots back over 500 years. In the 1700’s it was the most popular way to enjoy tobacco and is starting to make a comeback today. It starts by taking dried tobacco and pulverizing it into a fine powder. During the grinding process, flavorings are added to some the tobacco mixes that give the snuff a wide variety of different scents. These flavors include florals, different spices like clove, vanilla and cardamom along with artificial flavorings like chocolate, raspberry and even Peanut butter and Jelly or Expresso. Once it’s flavored, the newly milled snuff is allowed to rest for a few weeks so the flavors can marry. |
