American Dip

American Dip comes in 3 different varieties, Fine Cut, Long Cut and Pouches, and starts out as sun dried tobacco leaves that are hung in barns where smoldering fires, made from Oak and Hickory sawdust, are lit and the smoke penetrates that tobacco leaves. This “fire curing” process lasts for up to 12 weeks and is what gives American Dip it’s unique flavor. After curing, the tobacco is placed in large wooden barrels, along with flavorings and sweeteners, and allowed to age for up to two years. This aging process allows the tobacco’s flavors to marry and mellow and after it’s complete, the tobacco is shredded and packaged.
